I renewed several items this morning and they're not showing up in the correct order. Is anyone having this problem? I'll have to check through my charges to see if they've actually been renewed.
If they were not expired, they go back where they were before you renewed.
I do it all the time and that's never happened to me before.
Perhaps you misunderstood, the listings are in the wrong order regarding the expiration date.
Yes, I misunderstood.
This happens because of a calendar glitch. You are renewing on Oct 31st but Feb only goes to the 29th.
Etsy never corrected this site issue so seek and you shall find the renewed listings somewhere.
This happens every year. It's because it's the 31st October today. Listings expire in 4 months time, which would be the 31st February - oh, hang on a minute.
Etsy gets confused. New / renewed listings are in a funny order.
It'll sort itself out tomorrow.
Even the new listings are behind listings from yesterday.
This happens to me a lot and it's really annoying. I have contacted Etsy on various occasions about it and they haven't fixed it. I'm getting it today, listings that sold this morning are showing underneath yesterday's ones.
Etsy goes by months not by days when it comes to renewal, therefore every October 29 - 31 (this year 30 - 31 because of leap year) this happens. Every listing renewed on those days expires on the last day of February. This happens other months besides October, but since the others are only one day difference it is not nearly as noticeable.
Etsy will not fix this, because they do not consider it a glitch. It would be chaos if they went by days. No one would know when anything was expiring. During some 4 month periods you might gain a day or 2 and with February you lose a couple, but it pretty much balances out.
