I had one listing removed in June and another one removed just this July.
I design and make the products myself. I have a video showing how the wood is painted and lasered, and I also make the bead bars. However, there is no way to provide this evidence to Etsy, and there’s no option to file a case online. I have spoken with three people on the help line.
They suggested it might be a system error and advised me to relist the items. I’m concerned that Etsy might shut down my shop if I do this.
I also sell on Amazon and my own website. Etsy and the seller don’t have any exclusive agreement. Sellers should not be penalized for selling on other platforms. I understand that the listing might have been removed due to a system error, but it seems unfair to ask sellers to bear the consequences of a computer error.
I contacted Etsy support, but they were unable to provide any information on when I might get it back. It has been two months since the badge was removed.

If you sell elsewhere many sellers recommend taking a different pic of the item for one or the other, so that the exact photo does not show up all over. Have you done a reverse image search to see if there are other places your item shows besides yours.
You need to check to make sure your photos haven't been stolen by wholesale sites.
If your photos are on Temu, Alibaba, Aliexpress... Etsy will assume you are reselling factory made items.
If / when you find them, issue the appropriate DMCA take down notices and have the other listings pulled down.
AFTER that...
Contact Etsy and plead your case.
It looks like you DO have one of the Star Seller badges... the Smooth Dispatch. That means you're missing the dispatch and messages badge.
It looks like it has nothing to do with the take downs.
They don't have any of the SS badges - it would be purple if they did. The star they have is the default that pretty much anyone without any of the SS badges gets (I've seen shops with a total of 2 sales made 8 years prior show that *top shop for gifts* blurb)
I just saw most of your items on Amazon. The one that caught my eye was the Montessori addition wood tablet. On Amazon it's 9.99 , your charging 50.00 for the same thing. This is certainly not permitted on Etsy . I am surprised they haven't shut your shop
Which one you are referring to? I don’t think I have a board selling in Amazon for $9.99 as the wood board itself is more than $10 for two pieces already.
are you referring how much other people selling?
I'd use a reverse image search to see if your items are being copied. If they are file DCMAs.
Since you're selling on other sites, Etsy might see the listings and assume you're reselling. I think the best thing to do is use different photos, titles and descriptions on the different sites. I did read somewhere in the forums that if the items were sold on Etsy first, it was less likely to be an issue.
I'd be nervous about relisting w/o resolving the problem with Etsy. Even if the help desk is correct 'it might be a system error' ... that same system error could occur again and then it would look like you were ignoring Etsy.
Plus relisting, won't get you your badge back.
I'd keep trying to get Etsy to confirm that the listing was removed in error by using my original contact and clicking on 'I still need help'.
That’s my problem now. I received the email from Safety and trust team. That is no reply email. When I click for help, they close this type of help case right away and provide the same reply.
I started in Etsy in 2008.
Then I started Amazon when they started handmade section. Etsy is the first. The first listing removed had been in my shop for years. I don’t even sell that in Amazon too.
I cannot figure out what is going on. Nowhere to ask.
help line has no answer for that. I am so hesitate to relist again.
You can file an appeal. Attach your proof as an attachment to the email. If they don't respond within 10 days, contact them again, but be sure to keep it in the same email thread. Most times, you will get 2 or 3 canned responses that don't address your question before a real person will look at it.
If you start a new email thread, they will close the first inquiry and kick you to the end of the line to start over with the canned responses again.
There is a specific link to send appeals, but I don't have it handy right now. If I can't find the right question to ask, I just pick one and change the subject line to whatever my issue is.
If Etsy has removed something, you can't put it back up until they approve it. They can close your account for that, so I would ignore the help staff that told you that.
