Items not visible in my shop

My friend reported that she could not see items in my shop on her app, other shops are working perfectly fine for her.  This has been going on for at least 3 hours now  Another friend cannot find my shop at all on her app

I can see only the titles of the sections in my shop on my phone

I am on my laptop and everything looks fine. Hopefully, someone will come along who is on their phone, to do a check for you.

A few people from my Instagram checked my product's visibility and some of the items are still just black squares.

OP, I am in Texas and looked at your shop. Every listing was shown to me, although you don't ship to America. I suggest you try a different computer or phone and browse incognito for your shop.

I had a small problem yesterday of a black box being shown instead of the listing photo.  It was a problem with the thumbnail picture that wouldn't load.  It righted itself after about 10 minutes though, so could just be a glitch? x

That's what I've got today. Just black boxes where some of the the thumbnail pics should be. I was worried it had been taken down for some reason.....I'll check again in a bit, hopefully it will be ok again soon.

Thanks so muchCadaBayJewellery! It seems to be reoccurring problem. A friend of mine mentioned that back in December, but back then I assumed it was a glitch. As I did my digging now I know Etsy has a real issue that affects some of the accounts.

I am not seeing black boxes, but my thumbnails on some items are blown way up, not showing the entire photo. Makes the listing look really weird. Using the Buy app on an iPhone.

I had the same problem yesterday with my latest listing! It was only the item I added yesterday too. I just took a new picture and it fixed the issue. I have no idea what that was about. It never happened before.

And now I am seeing the black box with an item I just listed on my desktop. This is so not ok!

The black boxes show up whenever I try to access one of your shop categories (pottery, brass, glassware, etc). Black boxes and a “No items found” message pops up on the screen, as if you had not listings on said categories. It only happens when I use the etsy app on my iphone. I logged in on my iphone safari and the issue doesn’t happen. In my computer it was also fine. So it’s definitely an iPhone app issue.

I also found out that Etsy app use a default criteria with its category filter, sorting out listings by relevance. I didn’t set it up, it’s a default setting. But if I change the criteria of the filter to sort by any of the other criteria (eg. recent, lowest price, etc) the listings show up. Therefore, it seems to be a bug in the “relevance” criteria only, which unfortunately, is the default setting. It means whenever you achieve the super hard task of having someone clicking into your shop, they will try to browse and find an empty shop and move on to the next.. then you lost your chances of selling something. Quite distressful for sellers who are not stablished yet, which is my case.

Still haven't heard anything from Etsy yet. It is not a new issue. My shop won't survive if this won't be fixed and it will be time to move on to another, more reliable platform which I don't wish for. Im very disappointed

did you find a solution to this? im having similar issues. my shop sections show the number of available items but when i click on them, theres no listings.

Still having problems here. Off and on for a few weeks, the images wouldn't properly load when creating listings. Now, on my shop home page, I have some listings only showing as black boxes and all the rest do not show photos at all - just white. No images. Seems fine on my iPhone, but on my MacBook there are problems. Hope this is resolved soon. Can't even see what I am uploading to list new items. Sheesh!
