This is a buyer issue, not a seller issue, but I'm not sure where else to post this. Sometimes when I search Etsy, let's say for example "25mm glass cabs," I get search results with item titles, seller star ratings, seller name, and other information under all of the photos. But at other times, when I do the same search, suddenly I get a page of photos with nothing more than the prices showing up. Is this a browser issue? An internet issue? A website technical problem? Something in my settings? A new Etsy "feature" they're trying out? (If it is, I don't like it!) Or what?
A big reason why it is so annoying not to see the item title is because Etsy's search engine frequently delivers listings that don't match my search criteria - for example, that "25mm glass cabs" search will also give me 20mm, stone not glass, etc - so I really need to see the item descriptions or else I'm wasting a lot of time clicking on things I don't actually want or need.
That sounds like a device issue or a problem with the ISP server connecting to Etsy server.
If from a PC how old is your PC? Are you running Windows 10 or 11? Anything older is suspect to problems. Is your browser up to date?

For things like 25mm and getting other results. That is the seller. They may have 25mm on their listings since they may do more that one size in that listing. They didn't change the listing when making a listing for a different size. It's also possible if there are not enough items to show and since the AI abhors a vacuum, it will pull other similar in the hopes you will purchase.
I saw this the other day and could not reproduce the issue so I didn't post, but apparently there is a test, probably related to square photos, smh, where all we get down is photos with a price and nothing else at all. It was the dumbest thing I ever seen them do. I thought it had to be a glitch, there's no way anyone with a brain thought of this.
This is on my Home Page right now. Photos with only the price showing. Titles show if I Mouse over the photos.
Same here.
I have seen this as well. It's a terrible idea for all products, and in particular supplies. There would be no way to judge prices without knowing size, quantity, or material.
I am experiencing the same issue. I posted two new listings today at different times and neither of them are showing any description information at all? I tried to search for some items from other sellers and the same issue. Is Etsy having technical problems?
@JardinAntiques Unfortunately, this is not a technical problem. This is a test Etsy is running at the moment - you will find the description right at the bottom of the page, under all the reviews and photos.
Etsy do like to carry out too much testing on live shops without consultation or reasoning which leads to a catalogue of of confusion across the forum. There is surely a better way to treat sellers and test changes.
Yeah, I'm seeing only photos and price. The "BIG 3" etsy favorites lately:
1. Photos
2. Price
3. Reviews
Not even a title when you hover over the images. So now not only does search return all sorts of irrelevant results... now a shopper has to actually click thru the pretty pictures to see if it's what they're looking for.
There really aren't words... (hah! that's actually an accurate PUN for this test... not what I intended, but I'll go with it...)
