Just reporting this here in case anyone else has had this issue.
I put an item into my cart yesterday, when I came back to purchase it just now, it had been completely removed from my cart ! I checked in the saved for later section, but it wasn't there either. I do know that Etsy clear out carts but that's usually only once a month towards the end and the items usually just go into the saved section.
I find this a bit worrying, because if this is happening regularly then people who have wished to purchase something might not be able to find the item again in search and the sale may be lost altogether.
I have noticed recently that I hardly have any items in carts in my own store. Usually one of my items consistently has 20+ in carts at any one time and several more are always in carts also, but today I only have 3 items in people's carts which is very unusual.
