Issues with New App & Shipping Dates
The ‘ship by’ dates on the new app are not always correct.
For example, I had one that was showing as ‘ship today’ on the app but when I go on the browser it is already showing as overdue.
I then have three showing on the app as ‘ship tomorrow’ even though the orders came in on different days. When I go into the browser one of those three is showing as ‘ship today’ with the other two as tomorrow.
Considering I use the app for all my work, it’s making it very difficult to stay ahead and ensure I meet all deadlines and Star Seller requirements.
It seems that the switchover day is based on Etsy’s New York time and not the time zone of where the seller is (Australia for me).
For example, if I get an order at 10am and then at 5pm, Etsy (on the browser) views them as two different days because New York has flicked past midnight in between them. However, the app doesn’t do this, sees them as one day and as such, the above issue occurs.
Please can this be looked into, ideally with the dates actually reflecting those of where the account is based.
