Issues with Listing Removal and Loss of Star Seller Status without Etsy Support Response

Hello, Etsy community!

I’d like to share my recent challenges on Etsy and seek advice or similar experiences, as I haven’t received any response from Etsy support.

  1. Listing Removal Without Clear Reason

    • My product, a kids step stool, was removed from Etsy with a notice stating it didn’t meet Etsy's Creativity Standards. I personally create this product in my small workshop using Latvian birch plywood, a CNC machine, and various other tools. I’ve attached an image showing the Etsy notification about the removal.
    • I’ve tried multiple times to contact Etsy support to understand the specific reason or get guidance on improving the listing, but I have not received any replies so far.
  2. Loss of Star Seller Status

    • Until now, I consistently held Star Seller status due to timely responses, fast shipping, and positive reviews. However, since my listing was removed, I lost all Star Seller badges.
    • With no response from support, I’m unsure how to proceed to regain my Star Seller status and prevent further issues.
  3. Next Steps and Request for Help

    • I’d love to hear if anyone else has experienced similar issues with listing removals and a lack of response from Etsy support. Has anyone managed to successfully get in touch with Etsy about these matters?
    • I’d also appreciate any advice on how to work towards regaining Star Seller badges and restoring my shop’s standing.

The ETA for response varies on a case-by-case basis, and a separate team is handling the ticket you recently filed. Any further communication on the matter, if applicable, will only occur directly with you, and via email.
