Hello, I am an Etsy seller and for the past few months, I’ve been working hard to become a star seller. The one badge I’m missing is smooth shipping. However, I've always shipped the orders on time and always provided the tracking numbers. On my last three orders, which have been shipped on time as well Star Seller info is saying that the orders weren't shipped on time and there is no tracking info. That is untrue and greatly reduces my chances of getting a badge because the stats have dropped dramatically.
@StillLinesStudio: How long ago did you ship? Have the packages been scanned?
This issue has been addressed in many many threads on this forum. If the shipper is supported by Etsy make sure that the shipped date, tracking number and shipping company show correctly on the actual order. Etsy relies on a third party vendor for tracking (and tracking number validation) and uses the data on the order. Often recent shipments are not correctly / timely updated. Usually a day or two after the package has been scanned the CSV file correctly shows tracking and shipment status and the Star Seller stats auto update.
Hello there,
I've double-checked the orders affecting your Star Seller, and it appears that the tracking events aren't showing. It is possible that the shipping carrier’s tracking may not be supported on Etsy. If Etsy cannot process your carrier’s tracking events, please consider using an alternate carrier. Here is a list of carrier’s that Etsy can support tracking with.
The number entered may not be the tracking number, or a slight error may have been made in entering the number, or the wrong carrier may have been added or chosen. Please check the carrier and the tracking number match. If the carrier and tracking numbers do not match, this will count as an invalid tracking number. You can check our help center article explaining how to add or edit a tracking number.
There may be an occasional technical issue beyond your control, either with the carrier or with Etsy’s ability to process the tracking. While the shipping metric won’t recognize tracking added after the shipping date, remember that orders older than three months will not count toward Star Seller metrics.
Thank you very much!
