I have got a response rate at 83% but this is incorrect, I have replied to everyone within 24 hours. How do I fix this?

I see the issue, I sent the seller a message when I placed the order and she replied saying she would fix her listing. So now I am penalised for her replying to my original message on an order I placed?

Did you enter your message into the „note to seller“ text box in the shopping cart during checkout?
If so, then you‘ve sent a note.
A note to an order is not the same as a message. It’s attached to the order in an orange box and doesn’t appear in your sent folder or the seller’s inbox folder. There’s no way to respond to these notes directly. If a seller wants to answer he has to start a new message thread.
It sounds like that’s what happened here.

There are two different things to consider.
1. It takes at least one day for the stats to adjust. If you mark a message as spam now the stats will not be adjusted in time for your Star Seller evaluation.
2. Messages received on the last day of a month will be carried over to the next month to allow sellers full 24 hours to respond.
I think there is a bug because I reply to everyone and even have an autoresponder but mine is still only 96%

You have to reply to each new message thread, they are highlighted in blue so you don't miss them.
.... if you added a message to the order, it's not a message according to etsy
when they replied, they didn't reply to a message thread, it was a new thread
basically, if it's highlighted in blue, reply in 24 hours
