Issue with hold on account for changing payment method

I had to change my bank account last week and I went through a third party app and entered extremely personal information so I could verify my new account. I then got the three letter code and verified the $ .01 deposit and verified my new account. It says there is a five day hold which the five business days (not including the weekend days) has happened. The hold is still on my funds after five days and when Etsy support called due to my request, they then proceeded to tell me that my funds have another hold on them. I have had a shop on Etsy for many many years and never had to go through this. In the handbook and forums it states there is a five day hold on funds for security purposes and the five days is now done. I want to know when and why I don’t have access to my funds?!?!? How many holds are put on a shops money and how long after the five day hold does one have to wait?!?!?

You went through Plaid which all US sellers have done.  I did not do the manual deposit which sounds like you did.  I did the other which was fast and secure on both ends from Plaid to my bank.  

I think you will have to reply to an email asking for more help about why the hold?  It is 5 days but it can be extended if something doesn't seem right.  I assume you used Plaid?  If you did not that can raise issues.

My shop has been on "vacation" per etsy for almost a month now after I updated my tax info. There is absolutely no seller support, I can't find anyone to email or call for info, status or updates. Their web links go into a worthless loop. How did you get etsy to call you. I'm about ready to close shop and move on to a platform that will support it's customers.

I used plaid and had to enter a three letter code into plaid once the deposit went into my bank account. I didn’t manually enter anything, it was done automatically through plaid to link it. I don’t know why there is still a hold on it and I have had Etsy contact me but they can’t answer my question as to why it is still on hold and have done nothing to help the situation

To go your Payment Account page (under Finances) and see if it says you have a payment reserve. If you have then there will be a big banner across the page.
