Right now, the ship from location is shop registered location. This is confusing when the products shipped from production partners who have a different location with shop registered location. In desktop version, it always shows ship from shop registered location when users track their orders. In Etsy APP, the 4th line under "item details" shows "ships from shop location". The actual item location can only be seen when the buyer click and expand the shipping tab (most buys do not do this!). This has confused many buyers when the production partners located in different countries.
in your shipping profile,
you should put the ship from country and zip code
It's an app problem. They are asking for etsy to fix the problem.
App shows ships from "shop location" under item details, even when ships from in shipping is different.
Etsy won't fix it.
you have to go to your listings and change your zip code to each listing you have.
1. Go to Store Manager.
2. Click on listings
3. Click on a listing
4. scroll to shipping
5. Click Edit
6. Enter zip code
7. Click save.
If you use shipping profiles, you just need to change those, you don't need to touch any listings
the ocation, top left of main shop page, is not used for shipping location
