I have a technical issue with a processing time/shipping profile for a sold order. I started a chat this morning and went through a few processes, but the issue was not resolved and then the chat was ended with "have a great day." I was not finished with my questions and I have additional information to present to the chat and have sent these messages but my new messages are not being answered. It looks like a dead thread now. I am unable to start a new chat. Anyone know of a way to start a new chat? thanks, Dana
@DandACards: Based on other threads and posts in this forum, the "new" chat seems to freeze after use and the only way to get it working again is for Etsy to reset it. Perhaps requesting a call back will work for you.
I don't know as chat does not work for me at all. Never has

@DandACards I've not used Chat, but some time ago, according to Forum Threads, there was a change in the Chat Feature. And some were saying it was hung up (or they couldn't close the Chat). Some were stating they had to hit an arrow to make it go away. Or click on something in their past Chats (Profile?). Let me see if I can find a Thread.

The one I'm thinking of told where you go to see your recent past Chats. And you hit an arrow to close those which are frozen.
This happened to me this morning. When I just clicked on it, it still has the last chat comments displayed, including where I typed "hello?" and got no response. I requested a callback and someone is looking into an question for me. It does seem like there's a glitch
