International Shipping

Hi Everyone, 

Does anybody know why I cannot update the ship to address on an international order? The customer provided an incorrect ship to address, after I messaged her, she provided her correct address. However, I am unable to buy the shipping labels due to the incorrect address. Does anyone know how to override this error and how to update the address in this scenario?

You can't change the country on a label if that's what your trying to do.

I am trying to update the shipping address, the customer provided an incomplete address when she placed the order. I have already received the complete address from the customer but I cannot change it anywhere. I just the message that I cannot process shipping labels with the first address provided.

You can not do it that way.

I suggest you cancel this order and your buyer update her address and repurchase the item with the right address 

Maybe somebody can suggest something simple instead

ok, thank you. Worst comes to worst I will need to cancel the order. I will wait to see if anyone else gives me another suggestion otherwise, I will just cancel. Thank you very much.

@AremisGifts: Probably Etsy's reasoning is that they want you to ship to the address on the order for buyer and seller protection. If you feel comfortable shipping anyway, you could always use a different provider like Pirateship, etc. for this label.

Thank you very much, and could you please explain to me how would I log in the tracking number from the other provider without having issues with Etsy as well as how to mark the order as complete?

@AremisGifts: At the most manual level, when you mark the order complete you have the opportunity to input the shipper (for example USPS) and the tracking number.

As a side note, have you read https://www.etsy.com/legal/policy/reselling/239324376512 If not, you might want to before someone reports your shop.
