I wanted to update on the International Customers Getting Domestic Prices Shipping/Listing Glitch, it looks like we can't reply on the other discussion threads on this.
I'm still having issues with my listings changing what International customers pay. Yesterday after having to cancel 2 customers orders and finding another 16 in my shop, I decided to go through all of my listings and turn off Domestic pricing. I now have only International prices on everything and give Domestic customers a constant sale of 10-40% off to make it fair for them. Cheaper items need a larger percentage off, and more expensive less.
It seems to be working well & it's the only way to handle it if Etsy can't fix it. The only thing I found trouble changing was listings where I sell single's or pairs of earrings.
Hope this helps!
This has been a bug for about 2 years now.
Others work around it by not using the global pricing tool,
but charging the same amount, and adjusting for the difference in the shipping charges.
just like we used to do, before we had a global pricing tool.

In most countries, running a permanent sale is illegal, that's why etsy only lets you set it up for 30 days.
It sounds like you are charging non-domestic buyers more - why not just add the extra into the shipping price
Thank you for letting me know about the sales, I wasn't aware of that.
The glitch is in the Global pricing tool, I had postage costs factored into my global prices, and then cheaper for domestic customers. The glitch makes the international price change to the domestic price, meaning that on some items I was losing money after shipping and expenses.
Please look at the other blog posts with "International Customers Getting Domestic Prices" in title to read other Etsy sellers experiences with it.
So, it seems if Etsy can't fix this problem the sellers effected are going to continue to lose money and sales resulting in what, having to stop selling Internationally?
I'm now at a complete loss of what to do.

Thanks so much. Yes it looks like I'll have to go back to that. Etsy had been saying that if I didn't do a free shipping guarantee in the US our search ranking would drop & we wouldn't make as many sales. But I really don't see any other option for now.
I really wish Etsy had handled this with more transparency, when I first contacted them about it nearly a year ago they sounded like they didn't know anything about it. They really need to sort it out and give us a way to fix it that works. They're so hell bent on the free shipping thing to compete with Amazon and Ebay, but don't they realise how unique Etsy is anyway? There are no serious competitors for hand made.
Thanks for your input, your cozies are lovely!
The FSG made a differebce right at the beginning, but they realised it didn't work that well, many other things work better,
So the fsg doesn't seem to make much difference, it is only one small thing in a whole range of ranking criteria,
one thing that seems to make a difference now, is photos - square or landscape and at leaest 2000px a side
Well here we are months later, and I just had the same issue. I contacted the support. This is so annoying.
I have some of my listings with free shipping, but it's just not possible to keep this system if the domestic/international price tool doesn't work
