I'm having an issue with the inform act with etsy. Bern trying to get customer service to respond to try and get this resolved but no luck.
My shop has been shut down for 3 days and now. I've verified the info that they wanted me to verify. I was thinking that it was my middle name was the issue so now I'm like 3 days into a name change and I can't get it approved or denied. Any help with what I may need would be appreciated
You have to make sure the name is exactly as stated on your government ID. There are loads of post regarding issues with this latest verification, so imagine solving each one who have faced issues is taking longer.

I put my middle name after my first name in the first name box. That worked.
Absolutely ridiculous not to have a middle name box when requiring a middle name.
A few weeks ago I had problems with this verification process because my first and surname wre in the same box and the surname box was empty. Tupidly maybe, I moved my surname into the surname box and clicked the ok button. Instantly put on reserve. I opened a support ticket and thankfully within 24 hours my shop was running as usual with no reserve.
To answer your question, I think you need to put all your 'given' names as shown on official id in that first box.
How did you open a support ticket? I can't find anything anywhere to do that as I'm having the same issue. I need to edit my name and add my middle with it, but there are no options to edit it.
it normally goes in the first name section, if there is no special section for middle names
It was messing me about with my surname as it is double barrelled, it would not accept it.
I found away around this by adding my first name and first name of my surname in the first name box, and the 2nd part of my surname in the surname box, then it would save.
Once saved, it allowed me to edit that section so that I could put my two names in the surname box
It all needs to be precise to your ID but the system does not always account for everything, such as middle names and double barrelled surnames
Thank you now I have to play the waiting game unfortunately. Wish I could edit the name again but I have to wait for them to approve or deny the change. Just wish this didn't happen right before the holiday shopping season

I am in the exact same situation. Didn't put my middle name, as it didn’t ask for it. Now it won’t allow me to even edit that field to add it. Sitting in forced vacation mode all week at my busiest season!! Can’t even communicate this to Etsy at this point, as my chat button is gone. I keep getting emails from them saying I have to correct it, but how can I when I can’t edit that field, it just says pending verification for days now. Any advice would be much appreciated!!
My issue is that in the pop up menu that asks for the verification, it lists my business name instead of my actual name. I went through all my settings to see where I could correct that, but everything seemed correct.
When I uploaded my ID, my shop was shut down and no one has responded to me and it was near impossible to get to navigate to a page on the help site to find anything.

Happening to me. Sent in all information even schedule c from federal return. 3 days still on pause. talked to etsy support they just said 2-4 to review documents, open support ticket, same canned answer, sent note to CEO and CIO no response. Sent note to investor relations no response. Its there AI bot that has bad logic, once you provide the information, your shop should be opened again while they verify the documents. They can always pause it again but treating the sellers like this is awful.
I haven’t even been able to talk to anyone! Only chatted once and now my chat button is gone!! I can’t even find where to open a support ticket, it just loops me around and around.
