India option missing

Hi

I want to create a new shop for different category items. When i start creating a shop there is  india available as a country when starting my shop creating but thenafter when they ask "how do you get paid" And " choose your bank country" India is not available on that list. As i know that etsy payments in available in india. But now India option is missing from countries list i don't know why. Please somebody help me why this happen. If this is a technical issue so please solve it faster many peoples like me are facing same issue i check on youtube. Please solve it

According to another seller in India who posted recently on the forums, Etsy is not accepting new shops in India at this time. I suggest you contact Etsy support (via the links in your shop manager) to confirm this is the case. If you can find out why then please share the info with us so we can help others.

They are currently working on switching Indian shops over from PayPal only to Payoneer. They have most likely paused the creation of new shops during this transition period. All you, and all the other people facing the same issue, can do is wait.

Just an update for anyone interested because I notice that Etsy has now added this notice to the top of the payment help page for Indian sellers:

As of November 2023, new sellers located in India are no longer able to open shops on Etsy to sell either domestically or internationally. India sellers can no longer enroll in India Payments (Razorpay).

If you already have a shop and are enrolled in India Payments, you can continue selling as normal.

me too. same thing is happening to me. nobody has any answers. i want to open a new etsy shop and I cannot because India is missing from the list of countries. i hope that things improve.

@JalChhobi I'm sorry but the answer is that sellers in India cannot open new shops at the moment.

@JalChhobi the shop you are posting from is fairly new. I wouldn't open another shop. Just put what you want to sell in the shop you have. You could be waiting a while for Etsy to figure out whatever the problem is.
