I send everything tracked but Etsy has marked some of them as not tracked.
I have proof they are tracked and delivered.
This has affected my star seller which was 100%
@Littlebowchicgifts: Are you basing this on the applicable CSV file available on your Star Seller page? You need to check that CSV file to see what Etsy thinks is late or otherwise has something wrong with it. In particular make sure that *Had processing time?* = yes, *Ship by* has a date, *Tracking/label date* has a date, and *Shipped on time?* = yes. Remember that Star Seller dates / times are in UTC not your time zone.
Have the packages been scanned? Sometimes a tracking number cannot be validated until after the first scan is publicly available. If the shipping company is supported by Etsy make sure that the shipped date, tracking number and shipping company show correctly on the actual order. Etsy relies on a third party vendor for tracking (and tracking number validation) and uses the data on the order.
An unsupported shipping company or invalid / unverified tracking number equals shipped without tracking.
Are you using Etsy labels?
No, a recognised courier.
If the courier is one recognised by etsy, and you update it, with the correct shipper, and number, by the ship-by date, you should be OK
what does the CSV say,, there are 3 columns you need to check.
This did not work for me. The shipper is USPS, thus should be recognizable by Etsy. The tracking number is correct, but USPS choose not to track it. How is it my fault if USPS decides not to track my package from beginning to end?

Is the shipper still listed on Aftership? That is the service used. Did the courier scan the items in within your time frame? Items need to be in ransit to count. If the courier did not scan that could be the reason for no update.
I send all my packages using USPS with tracking. The Star Seller statistics decided I was "unworthy" because USPS decided to not follow through on three packages. I don't understand how its my fault that USPS is not scanning the packages through the journey of the package until it arrives to the customer. I have had some dialogue with Etsy help about this, they told me to come here, how is posting or reading the comments here going to help? I will post this comment in several places to see if I can get anything resolved.
star seller doesn't care whether it is scanned or not
check the csv, to see which reason it is for, it might be invalid, or late,

For Star Seller Etsy only cares that the order was marked "complete" on time with tracking and that there is at least one scan to prove that USPS has the package in their possession.
Does the actual order show as at least "in transit"? Has the package been scanned? Sometimes a tracking number cannot be validated until after the first scan is publicly available.
A order still in "pre transit" usually means that the tracking information AS ENTERED cannot be validated.
- Yes, I checked the CSV, three orders have been marked NO tracking, even though the tracking number is in there.
- Since Etsy is choosing not to pay attention to the tracking number they have decided that the orders were not "Shipped on time", however this is not true.
- It's not true that "For Star Seller Etsy only cares that the order was marked "complete" on time with tracking and that there is at least one scan to prove that USPS has the package in their possession." because that is all correct with the three orders out of 30 they have decided to flag.
- "Processing time" = yes
- "Ship by" has dates
- Does the actual order show as at least "in transit"? Has the package been scanned? Sometimes a tracking number cannot be validated until after the first scan is publicly available. -> The tracking number is in there on all three, the packages were scanned at least once if not several times, the packages were sent out on time, andin all three cases the customers received them and left five star reviews.
- Two orders were outside the US. Unfortunately the packages were not scanned once they left our border. How is this my fault, I used USPS? AND, with both of those the customers left five star reviews, so obviously they received them. Is the solution to no longer send outside the US because USPS does not continue to scan the packages? With the third one, I can't figure out what the challenge is, tracking was put in there, like with every order I ship, and once again, the customer received it because they left a five star review. It seems like Etsy no longer uses common sense.
@IlluminatedPerfume: Shipped on time and shipped with verifiable tracking are two separate metrics for Star Seller.
If you click on the tracking link on the actual order and it opens up the USPS page showing the package scan history then you should pursue Etsy to fix the underlying data as it is proof that you entered the correct tracking information. This will cause the Star Seller stats to auto update (but not retroactively).
As to shipped late, in the CSV file is the *Tracking/label date* equal to or before the *Ship by* date?
If it says it did not ship on time, did you enter the tracking number, AFTER you marked it as complete?
If you marked it as complete before the etsy end of month calculation, but did not add the tracking number until after etsy did the calculation, it will show as no tracking
If you mark as complete, but then don't add the tracking number before the ship date, it will mark it as late.
Etsy does NOT use the tracking data, it uses what you enter
