Please forgive me if I am using this system incorrectly, but I think I am following the instructions on how to dispute an incorrect rating. The rating in question is my Message response time.
I had a sell on the in the evening of April 15th. The next morning (April 16) I sent my buyer a message thanking her for her order and I had a question for her. She had order 2 different Mermaids that had blonde hair, but, in my listings, they were created with different glass. I asked her if she would like for me to create them using the same blonde glass for both Mermaids. She (the buyer) responded on April 16th and said yes that she would like for both of them to match. Later that evening on April 16th I had her mermaids completed and sent her a photo for her approval. She responded the next morning saying "Beautiful" so I promptly shipped them out to her. A few days after she received her Mermaids, she sent me message telling me that she received and loved them and thanked me for the extra little fused fish that I had sent along as an added 'thank you' for her purchases. Now I believe this is where I received a slow response rating. However, I thought it was explained that only the first message in the thread counts, not the ongoing message. When I downloaded my message response rate the date for these messages between myself and my buyer are all 'X-ed' out but this is the one that is marked NO for not replying in time. If it weren't for this one glich I would have a 100% rating but this dropped me just below the 95% rate needed.
I'm hoping someone can look into this and get it straightened out.
Thank you,
Rachel
It's only the first one if it's in the same thread. Did she happen to send the last one, once it was received, as a help request? Often Etsy hides the regular messages after a purchase was made and push people to send help requests instead. Help requests are a separate messaging system, so any messages there would still require a response, even if you already had an ongoing conversation in your regular inbox.
No it is not saying anywhere about it being a Help request. And in the side bar it is showing that it is linked to that particular order. When I open the order, it is not showing all of our previous messages just the last few after her order had been delivered.
