Incorrect Shipping Evaluation for Star Seller Badge.

I am extremely frustrated. I just started selling physical products this month (last Friday to be exact- so 6 days ago), alongside my usual digital products, and now I've lost my star seller badge.

I received two orders yesterday on the 31st that I was apparently not able to get tracking numbers quick enough for, and now I'm being penalized for not having tracking numbers less than 24 hours after they were ordered. That's not even enough time to process the order in order to even get tracking info.

 

This is ridiculous and so unfair. The products are well within their estimated processing time.

Hi there!

 

To get a closer breakdown of your orders that were counted as late, you can download a CSV by going to your Shop Manager dashboard > Star Seller dashboard page > selecting the On time shipping & tracking tile > selecting the ‘Export’ link next to ‘Order breakdown’. It may take about 24 hours after an order has been shipped for this score to update it also depends on when the carrier shares the tracking update with our tracking partner. Please note as well some delay for the score to be reflected on the star seller dashboard.

@EasyPrintsAndGifts  :  Your may have entered the dreaded time zone trap. It seems that Etsy uses UTC for most things, but many "reports" are based on your time zone - that is why August 31 for you may be September 01 for Etsy. If some of the orders shipped late in the month, they may have rolled over into the next review period.

Is there anyone I can contact about this? It just doesn't seem logical that an order that I received in the afternoon of the 31st can be counted against me.

@EasyPrintsAndGifts  :  Etsy has made it pretty clear that they will not manually adjust star seller ratings, but you can try Shop Manager > Community & Help > Contact Us

I just had the same, star seller badge being removed for supposedly sending one order late. It wasn’t sent late, it was sent the next day and well within processing times. It has tracking to prove it. This is maddening!! I reached out to Etsy who said, ‘that’s ok if we occasionally send one late’, but it simply WASNT sent late!!! I sent them the screenshots to prove it. Who can stop this madness?

Same thing here.  I received orders one day and the next day I shipped, with tracking.  I had lots of orders that day but Etsy is saying I didn't have tracking.  It's right there !!   Not bothering contacting them because all they do is tell you to post it here.    They need to remove their SS program until it is fixed and does what they say it does.
