This morning I logged into my Etsy account and saw that I had 3 orders. However when I check my email there were only 2 emails. Chat was no help as usual.
Don't rely on emails to tell you about an order. Sometimes they get hung up in servers.
@QuiltStencilsAndMore : Too many bad things can happen to an eMail even if both Etsy and your mail server do everything perfectly. I seem to remember that there was a post that Etsy was investigating if it was something on their end but if course I can't find it now. The consensus is that sellers should check for orders and messages using a (desktop) browser due to issues with the apps.
@BagmakerSupply I do use my desktop and this just started happening recently. Had a total of 4 orders today & got emails on 3 of the 4. All other emails are coming thru fine. And I think it was yesterday or the day before that an order showed as an order in my dashboard but not under recent Recent Activity. Very odd.
Emails have always been inconsistent. I rely on the app for sale notification; plus I check my store twice a day.
@QuiltStencilsAndMore : I know that it is not any consolation, but if you look through the various threads in this forum you'll see that all sorts of issues with Etsy are being reported, many of them having to do with incorrect or inaccurate data being reported to sellers.
