Inaccurate Shop Rating

Is anyone else having this problem, or is there something I'm missing? My shop has 28 reviews. 25 of them are 5 star reviews. 2 of them are 4 star reviews. 1 of them is a 1 star review. That comes out to an average of about 4.8 stars. And yet Etsy has my shop showing that the average item review is only 3 stars. What gives? I can't find a way to contact Etsy to ask them about this.

I think they only count them on a 12 month period so any before that would not be calculated

It only takes the last three months of reviews. If you go to the star seller section of your dashboard and scroll down you will get more info.

Correct. She's not asking about the SS program, but her shop averages.

My bad! I misunderstood the question.

The average is figured by looking at the reviews from the last year, so as the old days and reviews fall away, you might not have enough 5 stars to outweigh the others. You have only 2 reviews in the past year.

Your average will go up to 5 after June 19th when that one won't be counted anymore.

Your reviews are averaged over the last 12 months. You had a 1 star in Jun 2021 which will drop off soon.

Hi I have an one star rating by error, and got changed into 5 stars. My rating went down to 4.6 after that one star mistake and was never renewed. I should have a 4.9 now. How can I contact etsy to change this?
