Hello I have tried again and again, and it's impossible to receive payments if you are from Switzerland.
On my bank statement, the clearing code is written in letters but Etsy only accepts clearing code in numbers, also the account number needs 12 digits but I only have IBAN or 9 digits account number with dashes.
It's really a nightmare, if Etsy doesn't do anything, I will go somewhere else to sell my products because it is crazy that I can't have any help for this issue other than automated e-mail replies.
I have some payments that I can't receive, if Etsy doesn't do anything to fix this problem I will take legal action to prove Etsy withhold money from me intentionally !
In Switzerland your IBAN may be CH00 1234 5678 9101 1121 A
Which means your bank account number is 567891011121 A (try without the spaces, if that does not work try with the spaces after every 4 digits, with or without the A at the end)
Also you can not take legal action, somewhere in the small print when you signed up you agree against such actions
@CryzalisMasksUK "Also you can not take legal action, somewhere in the small print when you signed up you agree against such actions"
That only applies if

Okay I will try that but about the legal action, I also signed to have a product that worked. I didn't sign for it to not receive what I'm due if I get payments...
It will end up working, once you figure the format out. I have learnt it is quicker trying to figure it out yourself than trying to get tech support.
Try some different combinations, if they all fail. Contact Etsy via the help section, click "Still need help" you will get the option of a live chat
Did your bank get the initial tiny deposit from Etsy Ireland to verify your account?
There’s a separate issue going on where many sellers from many countries are having problems getting their payments even after their bank accounts have been verified. Just trying to understand where you are in the process - still awaiting account validation, or awaiting receipt of payments from sales after successful account validation?
No I havent had any deposit… and worse it seems the amount I was supposed to receive it was sent to another account…
@VividArtisticMix Do you still see the money on your shop payment account? Etsy shouldn’t be sending money anywhere until the bank account is verified. You wouldn’t be able to verify an account that’s not yours, because you wouldn’t know the amount of the micropayment from Etsy Ireland.
see my post below for more info.
Bank clearing numbers (BCN) in Switzerland are numeric, 3 to 5 digits. I think you’re looking at the wrong thing on your statement. Try https://www.swissbankcodes.com to find your bank. At the top, click on the canton where your bank is located, or if you bank at UBS or Credit Suisse, click on the bank name then find your canton, and then the location in the canton. The BCN is in the far right column.
You can also ask your bank directly for the correct BCN and 9 digit account number to use for international payments. Etsy will be of limited help. Put your shop on vacation mode so you don’t have more sales and money accumulating. Experiment as needed to input your bank info until it’s accepted by Etsy, then wait until you receive the micro payment from Etsy Ireland (2-5 days). You’ll input that amount back into Etsy to complete the verification process. Once that’s all done, then reopen your shop and request your payment frequency from Etsy.
Good luck.
Thank you very much, but my account was verified without having to receive the micro transaction : look the email I received :
Hello VividArtisticMix,
We’ve verified your bank account using the bank statement you uploaded! You’re all set to continue selling on Etsy. Remember: For security purposes, you won’t be able to receive funds from your sales until five days after your bank account was verified.

Thanks,

And I had some money sitting there, and now it’s less. So I don’t understand where the money went ?
also when I went into my finance account on Etsy there was nowhere to input any amount, it just showed as verified…
@VividArtisticMix May I send you a private message to your shop?
Of course
