Images being cropped in Etsy messages

I am having an issue with sending proofs to customers.  I always attach a proof in Etsy messages.  Usually there is no problem and if you click on the image in the app it will open it in a larger window.   Now, it is being cropped and not able to open in a larger window.   There is no problem on the website, is seems to just be the Etsy App. Last week it worked just fine.

I have had to email the proofs.  This adds another step and is not ideal.

Is anyone else having this issue?

I am also having this image and just came to the forums to check to see if it is a bug.  This happens occasionally where the customer can't open the image to expand it but I keep getting messages this week that they can't view it.  When I go to my phone an pull it up in the app...correct, it is cropping to a square and will not expand.  Fine on the computer.

I have this same issue with customers who are trying to view an image through the app.
