I'm writing with a different account as the shop I'm talking about is currently suspended for suspicious activity.
I had my email and shop hacked on the 7th. I was able to secure my email again, I'm safe in that sense.
My shop, where I had just gotten star seller after lots of hard work, has been suspended now. I have been on the phone with etsy, they escalated my issue to a "specialist" and I received an automated email asking security questions to prove I'm me. Answered that immediately, and now I'm waiting.
I know it's the weekend so it's not like I'm expecting an answer today, but I'd like to hear what was other seller's experiences with similar issues? I feel like this kind of thing needs to be dealt with very quickly, but from the little I've been able to see on other online boards, etsy takes its time and sometimes doesn't get back to us at all.
Did anyone get their account back after being hacked?

the 7th of March is nothing. this post is interesting reading for you. this seller is waiting over 2 weeks. that's not uncommon. etsy customer service is abysmal at best.
