IMPORTANT: Your shops bank account has been unlinked.

Received email from ETSY to say an Etsy administrator had unlinked my bank account.

Then another email to say an order had been placed on hold due to suspicious activity. 

 Now shop has been closed! Help! No messages from Etsy on dashboard and no emails about closing store! What will my customers think!

They will think you have closed and they won't get their product.

What, exactly, were you selling? In the last few days Etsy has started to strictly enforce their policies and shutter shops for breaking the Terms of Use. Even shops that are 10 years old have been banned for selling prohibited items, even though they have gotten away with until now.

Was your shop linked to this account, or is this one a burner?

I was going to say it is a scam email so I am surprised your shop is not there!  Why would your bank become unlinked? How long have you been a seller on Etsy? Have you been hacked?

What were you selling specifically? For example were you selling art work of famous people, characters, famous quotes ect... or did you use any brand names to sell your product? Or did you resell things that you did not make in the handmade section? 

Suspicious activity? Did you get a large amount of orders all of the sudden? Perhaps a hack as the person above mentioned?

We can't see your shop so any advice to give is limited without knowing more information from you or about your shop. 

The only advice is to read the email that was sent to about the closing of your shop by Etsy and contact Etsy for more information.

Buon giorno, io ho esattamente stesso problema, da quando ho aperto il negozio appena giungo un articolo,  ricevo continui messaggi  come di confermare i dati se no mi viene chiuso l'account,intendo i dati bancari, attività  sospette, tipo messaggi idioti tipo "hallo"! chiedevo non e' forse che anche il mio account e' stato hakerato? Sono iscritta ad Etsy da due mesi , ricevo solo messaggi che mi informano che miei articoli vengono messi sui preferiti con un cuoricino ma poi questinutenti non comprano niente,  non  non ho ancora venduto niente, non sono una venditore professionale ma mi chiedevo cosa ho sbagliato? Riuscite a vedere il mio account? Come si riconoscono i veri messaggi da Etsy, temo che dovro' chiudere l' account
