I am in Australia and submitted my drivers license on the 1st of January 2025. Still no notification on whether the process will be completed soon. I followed up through contacting via email. Got a generic 'if you want to delete your account' email back. Have followed up on Monday and again today. Their '2-5 business days' is nonsense. If it is going to take over 2 weeks, let people know!

My shop was put into vacation mode on Jan. 28. I have uploaded driver's licence immediately.

My shop was reactivated on Feb. 1, but the status is pending verification, and I don't receive the completion notice. For now, my store is working, so I'll just wait and see.

It appears mine isn't working at the moment. I also have not had any response from Etsy Support, which makes me wonder why they are even there?

Hey! I see your shop is back open. I am having the same issue. How were you able to fix it?

I wasn't aware it was fixed. I checked this morning and the ID check was still pending. I haven't had any messages from customer service or even a reply from moderators on here.

Update: my support request was closed with no communication from Etsy aside from a generic, useless 'if you want to close your account' thing at the beginning. No contact from mods either. I have reopened a support request and will be following it up religiously. This is ridiculously, poor communication and I am extremely disappointed.

It's now going on 7 months, have opened my 4th, yes 4th help request that hasn't been answered for 19 days. My friends have told me they cannot buy anything from my shop, which means that Etsy dragging its feet, is costing me sales.
