IBAN does not match expected format. anyone solved?

It asked me to verify my account. When I wanted to upload a receipt, I filled my IBAN number that I entered before, but " IBAN does not match expected format." I'm getting a warning. I couldn't solve it at all. I emailed etsy 3 times and there was no response. especially from turkey can anyone solve it?

I remember had have the same problem (german iban), it was something like miss out the spaces or anything like that. i tried it like 10 times

How frustrating! I've had that before on other websites.

it might be spacing between numbers, or check that you didn't leave a space BEFORE the first character.

Or the letters in the IBAN... make sure they are all capitals.

OR sometimes it is just a problem with Etsy, that they will fix in a few hours. Several times I have been going crazy repeatedly trying different ways to make it work, then I finally walk away and come back 2 hours later, do the exact same thing... and it works first time. Sometimes it's not what you are doing, sometimes it's the website itself that has the problem. Good luck !

etsy finally accepted me, but now I think they're going to adopt me.

I combined all of these into a single PDF and finally got accepted.🥳

Copy and paste your IBAN from your bank statement because often the 1 looks like l and the 0 looks like O.  The IBAN is the long one with letters and numbers and the BIC is a shorter number.

I have the same problem at the moment, and I just emailed support about it. Hopefully they will answer soon!
