I open my home page the sewery, it opens. If I try to add an item I am sent to my 2nd account

Hi. I don't know what's wrong but when I open my shop all is fine. When I go to add a new item listing, my shop page changes to a second shop I have on Etsy that I am no longer using. Should I close that shop down totally. Or, is there some other thing I can do on my typical shop ?  thanks much

That has got to be one of the strangest glitches I have heard of on Etsy. I would do nothing with either account until I got ahold of Etsy.

Use the email contact if possible and keep replying to the first automatic bot response with "I still need help".  Chat is outsourced and scripted so they will be no help with anything technical.

If you have 2 shops, you can only have them open at the same time, if you use different browsers, (do not use the app)

log out from both shops,

them log into the one you want, with a browser - and if it's this one, you need to open it, before you can list

thank you.  I am only opening one shop to access it to list items. I've had the shop for over 10 years. I also had a second shop opened at about the same time as the one I work from. When I open the home page of my main shop, the page is fine. I can look at photos, etc. The minute I try to open the spot to enter a new item, I am switched over to pages from my closed shop. I am not switching it myself it is automatic. It is very strange.  I just closed that shop entirely - down and waiting (approximately 30 minutes Etsy notes) for it to close to see if I then have total access to shop #1. Since you're posting here from your closed shop, you're probably logged into this shop and not the one that is open.  Log out and log in again in the correct shop.  

I use two different browsers to stay logged in both of my shops.  It happened a few times that I thought I was being switched accounts until I realized I was on the wrong browser.

Even if you close your shop, you can still access it and reopen any time.

You are posting here from your JmilliesJustVintage shop, not one called the sewery.  So if the sewery is the one you want to remain open then you are signed in to the wrong shop. You need to either sign out of this shop and in to that one or open a second browser and sign in to the other shop there.

I have two shops and I have this one on Firefox, and the other on Chrome. As others are telling you, you have to sign in on different browsers.

@JmilliesJustVintage: "my shop page changes to a second shop" One possible reason is 'cookie clash' if you are using the same browser for both shops. Among other benefits like not having to constantly log out and log in, using a different browser for each shop will reduce issues with cookies.
