I need help, every time I try to add a item to my shop, I get threw all of the questions then when I hit submit, then it says zip code is invalid, someone please help!!!!
You need to finish opening your shop and make sure your zip code is the same with all the other information like your bank and ID. But I don't know where your shop is. I have never had a zip code error listing items before.
Add your own zipcode. And just for information, no medical claims at all, like eczema, so that word needs to be deleted. Also no no's are anti-inflammator, pain relief, anxiety, etc.
Medical claims are not allowed!
@DreamyByErin What are bath booms?
The consequences of too many beans…
They are a bunch a different scents from love spell, fruit loops, bombshell and ect
I think you are missing the point. They are asking what bath booms are as that's what you have in your listing description.
It says this at the end "We also have lip scrubs, bath booms and a men's line."
Did you perhaps mean bath bombs? If so then you have misspelled bomb.
I also need help with an unrelated issue. New to Etsy, set up my shop and then Etsy's system asked me for irrelevant info. I'm a HK seller but it asked me for my Australian business number. Why!? I am not able to receive a response from a human. How to go about this?
You should start your own post, not hijack someone else's post, as your problem is not the same as the OPs.
@CustomDesignClothes Start your own thread.
if the zipcode auto fills and that box is blue, backspace that last number and retype it or erase and retype it. Sometimes on some browsers I have issues getting data to "take" when it auto fills. If you missed adding a zipcode in the shipping area of the listing that is what it is prompting you to do.
I have literally went step by step doing it as it prompts too. And I changed everything people are telling me too and it won't accept it, just keeps telling me it's invalid and I have done it literally like 25-30 times and can't get no where.
It wants a 5 digit zip code, not 5 digit plus 4.
Maybe it is because Etsy in infringing on USPS's trademark by asking for a "zip code" instead of a "ZIP Code™"
Your shipping cost to Canada for one item is $64.73?
No it's not idk why it's saying that, I'm not shipping anywhere other than us right now and I've even put that in there so idk why it is saying that, I'm sorry
It says my shipping cost from KY to OH would be $14.49. The total cost at $23.49 plus tax is way too high for anyone to buy. There must be some kind of mistake here.
Perhaps it is a dimensional weight issue. Maybe the item is heavy and large or maybe the weight and dimensions have been entered incorrectly.
Yes I don't know why it keeps doing that, I put a flat rate shipping in at 12.95 that's what it is a my post office because of weight, I think it keeps changing it. I'm new to this trying to figure it out
Yes I keep changing it to what I had it at the 12.95 shipping rate box what my post office carries, and if it's anything over I take care of, like if it doesn't all fit! But it won't take the change.
@DreamyByErin $48.13 USD to ship to Canada? I don't think so. Nothing has been corrected, so why ask for help? Everyone who has tried to help you has a business to run as well.
I don't ship to Canada, I don't know why it says that, I've even changed that a few time and it keeps doing that, Im new and trying to figure it out, I don't understand why you have to be so rude!
And I have been trying to correct everything but it won't accept it!
@DreamyByErin You are still making medical claims, you still have "bath booms". It doesn't look like you've taken any of the great advice you've been given. It says shipping to Canada is $48.13. It is just frustrating when a new seller asks for help and doesn't take it, when it's so freely and happily given by sellers who also have their own businesses to run, and just want you to be successful.
