I have 95 percent, 4.8 and 100 perecent for July but did not receive the badge. Is anyone else having this issue?
The first of the month seem to always confuse people when it comes to star seller numbers. Are you looking at the correct time period? The stats showing for current review period apply to next months star which will be awarded on August 1.
You need to look at 'last review period". Those are the numbers that are used to qualify for the star this month.
I have the same situation. It says you passed all the criteria, but my store has not made a star seller. Could you please help me with this.
I did look at last review perioed and there is a check mark after each of the three components. I received 96 percent for convos, 4.8 for reviews, and 100 percent for tracking.
My guess is during that last review period maybe your review scores averaged slightly less than 4.8 but for the display were being rounded up. If that is indeed the issue, it's dumb on Etsy's part to display something inaccurately for sellers.
@CreativeDesignsbyAmi @WitticismsRus
Yep - same isssue! Last review period has me with 96%, 4.8, and 99%, but I don't have a badge for July.
Same as with @CreativeDesignsbyAmi - you have a 1 star and a 2 star and several 4 stars during the rating period.
It might that for displaying progress the website rounded up to 4.8, which would be dumb but might well be the case.
I suspect it's because of the 1 star review back in April. Months considered for July 1 were April, May and June.
@mommawhazelsquilts as long as your average is 4.8 for reviews it doesn't matter about the 1 star review. It is your. average and they said a 4.8 average would give you the star.
Yeah I’m aware of that! But very strange that Etsy would say I’ve met a benchmark on the dashboard and then round down for the actual badge. Literally what’s the point of the dashboard if it’s not accurate? Wish there was better star seller support from Etsy….
Spoke to Etsy support - and they think it's a tech issue! I did the review math and my calculations have me at 4.802..... the Star Seller glitches continue.....
I did the arithmetic in another post for you - as did another seller,
you are actually at 4.79
it seems etsy is doing the arithmetic to the second decimal point, for giving the badge, but that programmer, didn't talk to the programmer who rounded up the dashboard, to 1 decimal place
you have 22x5, 2x4 , 1x1
119/25 = 4.76
Unfortunatly there are more than just the 3 qualifiers. There are also number of sales and amount of sales. That's what kicked me out of the star seller ranks
@CoComfortDurango I met all those qualifiers.
Per Etsy it takes "up to 24 hours for your badge to appear". I would give it more time to update.
@CreativeDesignsbyAmi Technically, it looks like your average review score is 4.76
Reviews 01 April to 30 June = 26
23 are 5 Star
2 are 4 Star (11 May / 03 April)
1 is 1 Star (02 April)
I do not know if Etsy "rounds" up or down, but if you have 4.8 average for Last Review Period, then it looks like they have rounded down.
Average for Current Review Period is 4.95 (19 Reviews 18 x 5 Star / 1 x 4 Star)
Thanks, knowing Etsy they probably rounded down. I appreciate you running the numbers for me!
I am sorry . I will lose mine for next month as I would have to do $200 in sales this month. No way I will do this with winter hats in July. I do think the ratings are not as fair as they could be. I try to not let it bother me, as I don’t really care when I buy an item , as long as the shop has many good reviews.
