I'm a newbie but suddenly my listing isn't allowing to add more then 1 sku for a variation

Hi there, Hoping someone can help. I did a listing already adding different sku's because of different colors but suddenly on my second try on another listing it will not at all allow another sku, even though the toggle is on for it, it only allows for one. I've worked on it for hours. also it has a weird message I've never seen before that says "You can add up to 2 variations. Use the variation types listed below" but on my other listing I added 5 sku's and 5 colors to go with those sku's. What am I doing wrong, why wont it let me, I cleared my browser and nothing is working.

@TalonsAndThunder. When you create the Variations, I believe there's a box to check off for SKUs vary.

I would delete that variation and start again. 

Make sure you have read the help pages regarding variations : https://help.etsy.com/hc/en-gb/articles/115015664047-How-to-Add-Variations-for-Your-Listings?segment...

If the variations are the same as the listing you previously created then you can copy that listing and just change the details. I'm not sure if that method works with listings imported from a production provider though.

Are you using any browser extensions or plug-ins? Turn those off.
