Redbubble gives artists, like me, the opportunity to make cool fan art and monetize it without issues of copyright through their partner program. I would love to bring the work approved there to Etsy, like how printify and printiful already does. Is there a plan in the works for Redbubble integration with Etsy? If not, could this be bubbled up to someone because Redbubble has been branching lately and accepting intergrations with other companies and I think this could be a massive creative win for Etsy.
No, I see no plans for Etsy to do anything like that, and personally really hope it doesn't ever spill over to Etsy. They have enough they're already not doing to start adding in a layer like that.
For anyone not familiar, just google 'fan art on redbubble' and you'll see the guidelines. It's currently for about 40 brands and designs must be approved, which can take 5+ weeks.
@Manikato: Until (and if) Etsy does a proper integration with RedBubble, you could always do your own, even if it is as manual as placing an order with RedBubble after you receive the order through Etsy.

I agree. I doubt etsy wants to wade even further into potential claims of trademark infringement.
@Manikato: "... the opportunity to make cool fan art and monetize it ..." If you have not yet done so, you might want to read https://www.etsy.com/seller-handbook/article/39402098770 for Etsy's view on the subject.
If it helps you, I'm a legal major, who formally when to a fine arts school, which means I am very well aquainted with these regulations and how it works. Redbubble works with the copyright holders which is why I like their programs, it grants fair use to individuals. Stylization, representation, and origianl ideas vs likeness, logos, and replications are the core of fair use issues. This program identifies who has the legal premise to utilise likeness, preventing a lot of legal issues platform like Etsy has. Thats why I asked.

@BagmakerSupply I'll have to learn how, that sounds like a solid solution. Thank you!
