I have been having trouble renewing old listings since yeterday

I have been trying to list new items and also adding expired listings back into the shop. I have never had trouble like I have been having since yesterday afternoon. I have been charged multiple times for the same listing in my finances once etsy catches up hours later after the fact of trying to renew an item. It just acts like I renewed it (Huzzuh, you renewed a listing!) but then it is right back in my expired listings like always. Sometimes one or two out of 4 manage to renew but other never do until many hours later. Then I am charged twice AND my listings are out of order. Is this effecting anyone else? I have hundreds of listings to renew, but I am never going to get it finished with this technical issue.

When you renew a listings, look at see if you got charged for the renewal. If so, just be patient and wait for it to show back up in your shop.

I have done that, and it lags in my finances (etsy bill) minutes to hours later... and I end up being charged twice with time in between. I wasn't catching it at first and just thinking I somehow didn't renew it, but it lags not only in my shop manager, but also the billing.. and I am charged twice with an extreme lag. This has never happened before. Been selling on etsy since 2007

It happens on Safari and on Firefox. Seems like it etsy's problem... either a server issue or a site issue. Either way, it needs to be addressed. Please do not gaslight me like I do not know how this site is supposed to function for sellers. Renewed listings have 99% of the time shown up immediately in my active listings and the charge has been automatic in my billing. This is not happening currently. A lag of 30 minutes to hours is not acceptable no matter how you slice it.

@Jewels4pandas  I just finished relisting 3 items that expired yesterday. The first one that I renewed has shown up as  newly listed. The other 2 have not.  As you say this is usually instantaneous.  I will wait a few minutes and recheck them as it was not a minute ago that I finished and came here. If this is a site problem I am glad I only did THREE and not dozens!

I'll come back and post  and update if they show up in a few minutes.

ETA: I am on a PC, using Firefox--just in case this is a browser issue!

Same issues. Relists multiple times and it won't allow me to delete or deactivate. Very frustrating. The new app and listing tool have added measurable time onto creating new listings or renewing. Ugh

OK--All three of mine have now shown up and only charged once. Therefore I assume I am not having this problem. Don't know what to think. The problem must not be site wide (yet) .

I relisted 4 a few minutes ago and two took but 2 did not.  I checked finances and only two took.  I had to renew the other two again and the 2nd time it showed in finances.  No duplicates.

It might be the system is jumpy.  I'm having a few problems I normally don't on Etsy and everywhere else outside of Etsy is as it should be.  

Maybe something behind the scenes is affecting.

If after several hours the items have not renewed, try one and then check finances to see if it is there.

I'm having this issue too.  Unfortunately, I renewed the ones that appeared to not renew initially, and now one has been charged twice and the other one three times.  Next time, I won't be so quick to renew again if they don't renew immediately.  It's always something glitchy on here.

Here is a Thread with others having the same problem  See the post by PillowDetails.  You would think there would be an Announcement in "Technical Issues" of the Forum  I hope this is soon fixed for everyone having difficulty.

Same problem here - So frustrating! I did a help chat to be reimbursed for the excess listing fees, but the renewals continued to be delayed for almost an hour.
