Allowed and banned items

Fossilized mammoth tusk jewelry or pieces to make stuff from.    Can’t seem to find if it allowed or banned.  Anybody know for sure.

Re: Allowed and banned items

Most Elephant ivory or marine ivory is banned UNLESS its an originally scrimshawed tusk that would now qualify as Native Art. I would stay away from it. EDITED-Etsy also banned Native Art made from ivory in 2018-so that's none-nada-zip allowed at all.

Found it. Banned- Items made from cat and dog parts or pelts as defined by US Federal Law. Ivory or bones from ivory-producing animals, including tusks, elk ivory, fossilized ivory, and wooly mammoth ivory.

Re: Allowed and banned items

Any ivory is banned, even mammoth ivory.

Just a warning - I read your announcement and it does have the word "ivory" in it. You might want to find another way to say that, or risk bot removals or reporting by concerned citizens.

That, and be sure you aren't selling the same items in both of your stores, as it is against Etsy's rules.
