Your shop shows no sales.
Are you viewing via app or desktop?
Did the "buyer" give you an order number?
You don't have any sales showing in your shop so I think maybe Etsy has cancelled the sale, could be there was a problem on the buyers end.
You also have no legal policies in place in your shop you need to add these asap.
You need a 30 day return window that is 14 days for the customer to contact you and 14 days to return the item, Etsy does not provide 28 days so chose 30.
In the link below there is more information about other details you need to add.

As a fellow Handmade knitter I cannot see how you can Hand knit an adult sized cardigan for the prices you are charging, with postage less than 20€ you must be losing money. I would seriously check what you are charging
How do you know someone has made a purchase and paid? Did they contact you to say they had purchased? If the sale is not showing at all, this could be a scam. If they paid for a purchase on Etsy, you should see the sale under Orders on your Dashboard, click on it and look for the word PAID at top right of the sale info box. If you can't see the sale there is none. If the sale is there but it says NOT PAID or PROCESSING, the payment has not yet been cleared. This can happen with first sales, as the processor will be double checking the payment. It can also happen if the buyer's funding source (credit card etc) failed approval.
@ALLHANDSONBYLEATHERD: Look at your Orders And Shipping page (preferably via a browser) - the order should be in the "New" tab If Etsy cancelled the order after accepting it, it will show up in the "Completed" tab. Also check your Payments page to see if you have been paid for it. If Etsy immediately cancelled or refused the order it is possible you will receive no notification.
If you have no record of the order, the buyer must contact Etsy themselves as Etsy will NOT discuss order cancellation reasons with the seller.
It's possible if it's your first order, and normal for it to be in processing for a day or more. The Buyer would have gotten an email saying this, but it may not show in your account until it goes through.
This is the most likely scenario, in my opinion.
And I have no idea how you can sell a handmade wool cardigan for $10 and $6 shipping from the UK to the US.
I would think shipping would cost more than $16 USD.
I thought the same. I can see the OP making a loss on every sale.
@ALLHANDSONBYLEATHERD I would ask for a critique to get some pointers from seasoned sellers to help you get started.
