I had no tracking for an order under 10€, put it still decreased my Star seller percentage

I dont know how to fix this, but I had a sticker order that was 5€, and to keep the shipping affordable, I did not ship it with tracking. However, it still decreased my star seller percentage, although on etsy it says only orders above 10€ need to have it. Did this happen to anyone else? I dont feel that it makes sense to pay a lot for shipping a simple sticker, but I dont want to lose my star seller badge.

@WaterLilybySara: Whether or not it makes sense (and Etsy wording is unclear) but it appears that all physical orders count toward Star Seller but only orders with a processing time shipped on time with tracking count positively. The 10€ limit has nothing  to do with Star Seller only if tracking is required.

Where do you see that for the EU, that all physical orders count?  I've copy/pasted the SS policy in my post below and it clearly says EU sellers don't need to have tracking on orders below 10€.

You said the 10€ limit has nothing to do with SS so that confused me.  

I don't add tracking for orders under 10€ and I've not yet had a problem with those non-tracked shipments counting against me so there is either a bug or a misunderstanding by those who are posting... or both!

Nothing to fix. Requirements for SS and requirements for tracking on small orders are separate things. It specifically says in the rules that while small orders (under $10, or the approx equivalent) don't require tracking, these orders are not exempt from the SS metrics. So you can either pay for shipping with tracking, or you can not worry about the SS.

OP is in Portugal.  Different rules apply.

The other posters are quoting the policy applicable to US sellers.

For EU sellers, indeed we only have to have tracking on orders valuing 10€ or more before shipping & taxes are added.
Per the help page on the subject:

Orders of a certain value will need to have tracking or a postage label purchased on Etsy. The requirement values are based on currency. 

GBP	£10 and above
EUR	€10 and above

You've downloaded the report for your shipments and you are seeing that an order under 10€ is counting against you? 

Was the item on sale?  Because the 10€ limit is for the price before any discounts were applied.

For the record, no Etsy labels available for EU countries and tracking is often ridiculously expensive (depending on country).

I am in Canada.  I have 100% on both of the other SS sections but will always have about 2% on the shipping one because of no tracking.  My items are relatively inexpensive, and people will NOT pay Canadian tracking rates.  I don't blame them.  I wouldn't pay it either!  It seem the U.S. was the only country considered when designing the "star seller" program.  I don't worry about it.  I'll continue to ship good products quickly, and give great customer service.  I'll worry about reviews which are much more important, IMO.

You have $15 and under that you do not need to track according to the Star Seller article.   Just need to mark complete within the processing time frame.

Admin just confirmed that tracking is only required on 15 CAD and over.  The SS rules also state that. 

Seems that maybe the info you are quoting is the rules that apply to US sellers who have affordable tracking and access to Etsy labels.  That said, if you sell in USD rather than CAD, then you need to follow US rules.

No that should not be the case. My shop is in Germany and I do no tracking for orders below 10€ else orders in other EU-Countries would be extremly expensive and it never affected my Star Seller status in a negative way.

1. I live in the EU and don't have to track items below 10€, so no that shouldn't be possible.

2. Those Harry Styles items could get you into trouble. I hope that you have a license.

Should not effect orders under $15 Canada no tracking needed or buy Etsy Labels. Of course you can not buy Etsy labels under $15 all with tracking, which cost way more than the items. To get the no needed, you must buy Etsy Labels, all with tracking, more BS money grab.
