I don't want to use shipping profile.

Whith the new listing form  I am requested to enter a shipping profile, but I don't want that . I want to edit my listings without a shipping profile because all my items are different in term of weight, cost etc.. and I want to edit shipping costs individually. Sometimes if I want to charge less on shipping costs, I cannot do that with a shipping profile. Is there a turn around? otherwise I can close my shop.

Why there is no choice "yes or no" with shipping profile. With the old listing you were able to edit a new sale without being requested to create a shipping profile. I don't understand , yes shipping profile could be useful for a category of Etsy sellers, but myself I am not in these categories.Shipping profile is complicating my work ten times.

You can still list a stand-alone shipping price instead of using a shipping profile. I think Etsy’s wording is really confusing on this section. If you open one of your existing listings, Go to Shipping, click CHANGE. Click CREATE NEW. Then add your shipping price. At the bottom of that popup you can save the settings as a Shipping Profile if you want to (or not).

Their verbiage is misleading because they make it sound like you have to setup a Profile.
