I can't get out of the " Vacation Mode" anymore. Please help asap :(

I was taking a break and put my shop on " Vacation Mode". Now I would like to sell again and I can not turn off my vacation status anymore, Etsy wont let me do it. When I try to click on it, it just turns it back on. Weird fact, I sold an item while I was on vacation mode. 

What can I do now? Please help.

items are not visible during vacation mode so i do not know how someone could make a purchase.

maybe you are doing it backwards?

try doing the opposite of what you think is taking it off vacation mode.

Yes, thats what I thought too, that people can't purchase, but it happened. And the vacation mode is still on. I dont know what you mean with backwards I just want to "unclick" my "vacation mode" in applications, but it wont let me do it...

Are you trying it from a regular pc or the etsy app?

i never use the app so i have no idea if you can do it there or not but i always recommend doing things from a regular computer or laptop

Etsy may be keeping your shop on vacation.  Have you found any emails?  They may be looking for ID or may be concerned that you are in an EU country that does not have EU compliant shop policies.

If you can't turn the vacation off, it may be Etsy since you may not have turned it on because you can't sell while on vacation.

If you don't find an email, check with Etsy.

I live in Germany and was selling before and everything was fine. Again, I turned the vacation mode myself and one digital product was sold anyways. No idea how that happened. But when I try to turn my vacation mode off, it just wont work.

If you have an order and it is legitimate, then try sending the item and inputting the tracking number.  Etsy does put shops on vacation when orders are over due.  There may have been an order pending when you went on vacation and it came through after you put your shop on vacation when it shouldn't.  If you clear up the order, Etsy may activate the shop after about a week or so.  In the meantime, try contacting Etsy about this.  Good luck.

A digital product was bought, I dont have to ship anything. And dont even know if I get my money! Its just frustrating at this point. And no help, the etsy "support" is not answering my requests. And I was putting my shop on vocation when I should, when nothing was happening. As I said earlier, I put my shop on vacation a while ago and someone bought a product just 4 days ago, so its clearly not a match.

@ShenysArt Use a browser, not the app, and follow the instructions here to turn off vacation mode. You had to turn it off at least briefly at some point, because you cannot make a sale while you are on vacation mode.

Etsy often puts new shops in vacation mode when they want you to verify either your identity or bank account.  Check your spam folder to see if there are any emails from Etsy.  Also go to Shop Manager - Finances - Payment Settings to see if there is a banner there asking you to verify your account.  If you cannot find an email then send an email to Etsy and wait for their reply.  The reply will probably be a generic reply and you need to click to say that the issue is not resolved and keep the same email going back and forth until you get it resolved.

Is the etsy service really so bad? I tried to contact them many times, nothing. Real people and this forum - the only support I get. Thanks to everyone. 

I have no unpaid bills and my shop is not that new actually, no spam emails either. I think its a bug. 

If I dont get any help, my shop will be useless. And I dont think I will start a new one, too much energy for nothing, I have over 50 items...

I put my shop on vacation a few weeks ago. However when I thought I had placed it into VC mode it did not take Because I did not scroll to the bottom of the page and hit the SAVE button.

Could this be what is happening to your shop?

No, of course not, I dont even have the function where I can just easy "turn it off" it just shows, but I'm on vocation mode (on my laptop). When I use the app and try to click off the vacation mode, it turns back on, next second. And Etsy dont react at all. Just frustrating.
