All of my shop’s reviews are 100% five-star. Yet since last month I haven’t been eligible for the Star Seller badge, which suggests something may be wrong. For reference, I sell digital items and have consistently held the Star Seller badge in the past. Despite maintaining five-star reviews across the board, the badge did not appear last month and is still missing this month.
@SarusWeddingTree: Your shop has the 'Rave Reviews' and 'Speedy Replies' badges. You did not receive Star Seller because you are missing the 'Smooth Shipping' badge. You need to check the applicable CSV file on your Customer Service page (previous review period for July 1st badges and star) to see what Etsy thinks is late or otherwise has something wrong with it. In particular make sure that *Had processing time?* = yes, *Ship by* has a date, *Tracking/label date* has a date, and *Shipped on time?* = yes. Remember that Star Seller dates / times are in UTC not your time zone.
This shop sells digital items. I don't think there's any shipping involved. She says she hasn't sold any physical items.
For reference, I sell digital items ...
It looks like you also sell physical items (pillows, shirts, cutting boards), and Etsy appears to think that your shipping and/or tracking is not up to the standards they expect.
Therefore, first poster is correct; your missing shipping badge is the culprit.
But so far, I haven't made any sales of physical products.
It doesn't matter if you haven't sold any physical items, just having a physical item in your shop triggers the shipping badge.
Seriously? I thought SSB was based on what you do...not what you might do in the future...LOL
I know... Etsy bots are such uncaring, unsensitive creatures. Seriously, I've seen people in the forums that have accidentally listed one digital item as physical and lost their badge.
Not that I really care about Star Seller, but I created a shop especially for physical items so as not to mess up this shop (even though I never have had or will ever have Star Seller in this shop, because I can't quite make the $300.)
But so far, I haven't made any sales of physical products.
Hm. It would have been more helpful had you explained that part better in your OP, because you said For reference, I sell digital items ... which led me to say what I did.
@SarusWeddingTree You also sell physical items.
However, I haven't sold any physical items yet.
@SarusWeddingTree: What does the applicable CSV file available on your Customer Service page (previous period for July 1st Star and badges) say?
If there has been no physical transaction, how could the CSV show anything? Something has to be done for a statistic to be made.
@HazelsSewingSuppliesis correct. If there were no orders that Etsy considered physical during the review period then the Shipped On Time metric should be "---%" (nothing to calculate) and the applicable CSV file would be empty. While the shop would not get the Shipping badge they would still qualify for Star Seller.
I only sell digital items and had 5 star reviews for this period as well as speedy replies...yesterday it said I was on track for star seller with those 2 badges and today...nothing. I think Etsy has more than a few issues
Same here! I only sell digital products and meet all of their standards. I hope they fix it soon...
