My etsy store keeps showing UK as default currency, etc but I change it to canada every day and next day it is back to UK
so annoying!
Do you change this on your laptop/desktop? If on the App, maybe it has a glitch.
What does the info on the bottom left-hand corner (in the dark blue banner) of any Etsy page say with regard to country, language and currency? Does it say Canada and $CAD?
Did you check under your Account > Preferences to see if the info is correct and also clicked ''update preferences''?

You shop location and currency settings are separate to your user/buyer location and currency. Perhaps your user settings are incorrect. To check/change your user settings to the main Etsy homepage and scroll to the bottom - user settings are on the left.
yup checked that 100s of times I change it and next day its back to uk.
@MonkeyIncByMila Could this be aside effect of the sales tax issues that a number of Canadian sellers are reporting in this forum? Sounds like its time to report it to Etsy. Good luck.
If Etsy says your are in the UK, you have no choice. Pack your bags and move to the UK.

I'm also finding that my currency settings are constantly changing from AUD to USD. Despite me changing them back to AUD, they revert to USD with no action on my part. Usually I'm able to change them back, but today they are stuck on USD and the option to change doesn't even present itself. Any ideas? This only started a few weeks ago, it has never been an issue before that.
If you are using an app and have used a laptop, you need to sync them

you need to be signed in to both, at the same time, for it to "stick"
Changing your currency on your mobile device will affect the desktop version of Etsy.com as well, provided you are signed in to your account in both places.
I also have this issue. I'm in Australia. My settings at the bottom of the search results page says: Australia, English, $aud.
However whenever I search, it applies a filter for items available to ship to the UK.
help!
if you go to someone elses item and look at the "ships to" have you changed it somewhere when you were checking something, if so, change it back there
