I'm posting this in Technical Issues because I don't want to think it's personal. But, of course, I could be wrong.
Anyway, when I try to participate in the Community Spotlight Thread I get promptly red bannered. It says to me ...

... in what seems like a slightly belittling tone?

Why are my privileges revoked? Could it be because I have achieved 666 sales?

Gave me the same red banner, but I admit I had no idea there even was such a thing as a community spotlight thread until this thread here. Oh, but thanks, @Former_Member, for the info on the community badge. I was wondering what the heck all those badges were for and how they were earned and Etsy’s help page on it wasn’t very helpful…

I posted in the post when it was working.

As I seem to remember someone spammed it and then posters got mad at the spammer.

I have a feeling someone tried to clean up the post and clicked the wrong button.

They were just hoping no one would notice.

That could very well be what happened.  I've seen OPs that were competely deleted, but soon after were back live.  I assume that's because a mod realized they didn't mean to delete the whole thing, so they undeleted it.

The info in the address bar when trying to view the unviewable Spotlight OP shows this:

Thankfully due to my fellow sellers sharing their experiences I don't feel so bad about being told I'm not an important seller with "sufficient privileges".  I received the giant red bar banning me too.   It's a broken link........
