How to order the drop downs in my Etsy listing

I know how to order the individual listings in a dropdown but how to I rearrange the actual drop downs themselves (if that's possible)?

I think you have to do the arranging manually.  I don't think there is a sort feature.

On a desktop/laptop (more reliable than the app):

On the listing edit page, scroll down to Variations. 

Click Manage Variations. 

Click a pencil icon on your variation. Drag the 3-line icons to reorder your variations. 

Click Done. Click Apply. Click Publish Changes.

@Natalya1905 Great tip! I bet there are a lot of sellers that don't know how to do that since Etsy changed the listing form.

Hi Natalya, that option isn't there for me. I've tried 2 different browsers. I can select one variation and get to the 'Custom Variation' option. In there I can move the options in that list.

However, it's in the previous window titled 'Manage Variations' that I need to move one drop down menu above the other i.e. change the order.

Does that make sense?

As far as I know there is no way to switch which variation comes first.. you have to redo them. I have a bunch of listings that I consider backwards but it is a PITA to have to redo them-- so they stay as they are. lol

Thanks @TheHomespunLoft I don't think there is either. I use an app to manage my listings so it's possible I could do it within Etsy the first time but just not through the app at the minute.

I am not a fan of the app so I rarely use it. I certainly can not run my business with it. I am on a browser window all the time, with various devices. Not the app.

@EpicCraftery: There does not appear to be any way to reorder variations - you can only change the order of options within a variation. Unfortunately you will need to delete and recreate them in the order that you want.
