Towards the end of last month, a number of fraudulent transactions happened on our shop. Over a span of 3 hours we received nearly 20 fraudulent purchases, some were made by the same accounts multiple times. Within an hour 4 of those accounts reached out to us to inform us that their accounts and credit card information had been stolen. We informed them that we would review all of the transactions and start issuing refunds. When I returned from work and tried to log in later in the day i received a notification from Etsy that are account was temporarily on hold as our email address may also be compromised.
Since then we reached out to Etsy support, provided all the necessary information to change the email address to a new one but haven't had any feedback. It's now been 11 days since this happened, and through two different ticket numbers we've supplied the new email address to be used but nothing has happened.
Is there any other way of reaching Etsy support besides the email. I remember using chat last year but the function doesn't seem to be there anymore. Any help would be appreciated.
Etsy no longer has a contact number to contact, but you could try requesting a call back from them.
