A couple of people have mentioned that it's possible to push back the ship by date so Etsy doesn't punish you for shipping something late. I've had multiple cases where the buyer has requested me to delay shipping for various reasons, and I generally just take it on the chin - better happy customers than Star Seller badge. But if there is actually such a tool, I would love to know where it is and how to use it!
Click on the 3 dots ... next to the order and click on Update Dispatch Date.

Found it - Thank you! Is it a relatively new option? I don't remember seeing it before, but it's been a while since I bothered looking...
I appreciated this answer so much! You saved the day! There was an error...I never ship on Mondays...and couldn't find this until your simple answer. Thank you!
Yes, but you can't change it more than once. I have had buyers reschedule many many times as I make cookies for events that sometimes get postponed. Any way to change the date more than once? I want to ask this of Etsy but cannot find a way to contact them.
Is there a pic of this, I don’t see 3 dots on the order on my phone or iPad. Help please
@CenteredClayWorks It doesn't show on the app - you need to use a desktop view.
* Also want to add, I have not been able to get the desktop view on my Android mobile - the past few months - like I used to. Guess you'd need to access this on a PC/laptop that's not running the app. Sorry!
I am having to change a ship by date on a custom order that has been purchased. I can’t figure out how to do this
