Didn't get a response to my previous post, so I'm going to rephrase the question: How do I turn off the "quantity" field for one variation after a listing is published?
I tried moving the slider to the "off" position for that variant when I set up the listing, but it kept slipping back into the "on" position. Now it looks like I have 165 items in stock when I only have 33.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
Thank you!

Which listing? You either have a quantity for the entire listing, or you check the box for "quantities vary" when you create the Variation. The second d option is for when you have 6 red items, 3 yellow, 4 blue ones - for example.
What are you wanting it to show? Because when you select the "quantities vary" it defaults to one, for each option, and you need to edit those numbers.
This is the listing: https://www.etsy.com/listing/1724681828/personalized-vegan-leather-padfolio
I did check "quantities vary," and that opened up three options: Price, Quantity, and SKU, which had sliders with drop-downs you could select based on which variations you wanted to apply them to. I only wanted quantities and SKUs to vary for all items in the FIRST variation (Color and Size), but the drop-downs kept switching back to apply to BOTH variations, so now it's calculating inventory for design work AND physical items. I need to disconnect inventory tracking for all design elements.
any solution?
