How does the Shop Stats (View + Visit) work ?

Hi !  
Do you know if the statistics include those views & visits done by me (my account) ? 
I started to edit titles & tags of some items. Then I found the numbers of view & visit doubled or tripled in a week.
But I also noticed that the items which got most views are exactly the same as those I edited. 
Now I suspect the statistics includes mine… 

Any thoughts?

Every time I list something new or change my tags- my stats also change.  Sometimes by quite a bit.  I was thinking it was the bots monitoring to make sure my listings were legal or something like that.  I have read that visits from your own account don’t count in the stats- but I am not sure.

If you are signed into your account as when editing, your visits/views are filtered out.  If you visit your shop without signing in or use incognito mode, then your visits and views will count.
