How do I make a sale price for one color option within a listing

Hello,

I am new to Etsy and forums....old dog. I am trying to put one item of a certain color on sale within a listing. I have figured out through your forums how to put the entire listing on sale but no further. Help!!

Thanks all,

JM

As far as I know you can't do that while the item is part of a listing with multiple colour choices.  You may need to remove the colour in the current listing (or change the available qty to zero) and then create a new listing for that colour only and discount that listing.

You could check the "prices vary" box for that variation, and change the price for that one color. It just wouldn't be labeled as "on sale" if you did it that way.

Do this, but create customized variations, with the price lower for that color. Call it, for example “On Sale —yellow.”
