How can the order date come after the completion date on a digital product?

I only sell digital, but fairly often the order date and completion date are different. With an instant download I would expect them to be the same. The latest one has an order date of 3rd July, but it says it was completed on 2nd July. How can this be?

I have a screenshot but can't see if there's a way to add it here.

This sounds like a timezone issue, Your buyer's timezone is 'behind' yours.

@LDCgraphics: As mentioned, it is most likely a time zone conversion issue - behind the scenes Etsy is probably storing all dates / times as UTC and different areas (even on the same page) are using different libraries to display them in "your" time zone. We see this inconsistency all the day, particularly in late in the day orders.

Thank you both. I did wonder about this. So that means one of the dates is MY date and time, and the other one is the BUYERS date and time. It's a bit daft to show them next to each other without that clarification. Not to worry though. Thank you for your replies.
