HlEP!Is it ok to reopen a store with an account that has not been used for many years?

Hi,Everybody,

I registered a store account in 2020 it only have one listing in it and I never managed it, and after more than 2 years later I decide to start managing my store again with this old account. I have 3 listings in my store so far, but not a single traffic and views!!!
What I want to ask is if a store that hasn't been used for a long time will be limited in traffic if I reuse it now? Or does etsy not to give traffic to old" death" store? Should I reopen a new store instead of using this old one?

I would not open a new shop. I don't understand your production partner??

The production partner was years ago I don't know how to remove it.

I think the fact that you only have three listings so far is more likely the cause of no traffic.  I have reopened "dead" stores before and I don't think it's any different than starting a new shop ...

I forgot where I heard that if your store has not been used for long time Etsy will treat it as a "dead "store and no longer give you any traffic, so I was wondering if the reason why my store has no visits at all is because of this.

@LoveinPortraits why not use the foundation you already established? Polish it up, expand, and make it what you want. No need to start from scratch with another shop. My two cents.

I've opened and closed one before too and I don't think it makes any difference either.  Good luck on 'getting found' though since opening or re-opening a store on Etsy now is different than what it used to be in many ways.  I've changed my name more than once on my second shop, listed, renewed, copied, offered FS. run sales, advertised on FB, Instagram, Twitter and a local NextDoor neighborhood app and it stays pretty dead, while THIS shop (my first & main shop) does fine (slower this past year than for the few years before) but still decent.  I'd recommend ads but past experience for me its that they do not pay off.

I have tried put ads on it to see whether it would get some visitors.  I'm afraid this old store has "dead", then I shouldn't waste time and put more effect on it.

Can you tell me how to reopen my shop? I suspended it, did not close it permanently.  I want to get a year end report to file taxes.
