Help!

How do I get Etsy support to help me?? I have sent in several requests that are 2-3 weeks old with no reply. I am trying to sell on Etsy but they say my business name is wrong (it's not). They took my $15 and my .20 for my first listing, then suspensed my account and now they won't help. I have contacted the IRS and local government and they both say my account and tax IDs, business name, everything is valid. What do I do??

The names on your Etsy account and your bank account must be absolutely identical. No differences whatsoever, no matter how small.

Are you trying to set up for the first time with a business? I'm not positive, but I think I've seen that you need to register as yourself first (your name, your SSN#), then you can change it to a business. Maybe someone that's done that can jump in and verify if that's correct, but I know I've seen posts where people were having issues, they did that, and then it worked just fine. I assume it's because Etsy was originally created for sole proprietors, and accounts need to be linked to a single person, so that needs to be the first step.
